How do I book accommodation at Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan?
Fill out the online booking request form on our website. After submitting the form, send your request via WhatsApp or contact the booking office directly. Your booking will be confirmed based on room availability and Sansthan guidelines.
How far in advance can I book accommodation?
Accommodation bookings are generally accepted up to 30 days in advance. During festivals and peak seasons, booking rules may change depending on availability.
Can unmarried couples or groups of friends book rooms?
Private rooms are generally allotted only to families and married couples with valid identification. Unmarried couples or groups of friends may be directed to dormitory accommodation, subject to Sansthan rules.
What is the minimum number of people required to book a room?
A minimum of three family members is generally required for booking a private room, depending on availability.
What is the cost of accommodation?
Accommodation is offered on a suggested donation basis. Devotees can contribute according to the recommended room donation amount.
How long can I stay at Bhakta Niwas?
Rooms are generally allotted for 24 hours from check-in. Extensions are subject to room availability and approval from the Sansthan office.
What facilities are provided?
Facilities include hot water, Mahaprasad canteen, free shuttle bus, parking, attached bathrooms, clean rooms, and selected AC room options.
What documents are required for check-in?
All guests must carry a valid Government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence. Married couples may also be asked to provide marriage proof.
Can I book accommodation at multiple Sansthan locations?
Yes. Accommodation can be requested at Shegaon, Pandharpur, Trimbakeshwar, Omkareshwar, and other Sansthan-managed locations depending on availability.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform the Sansthan office as early as possible by phone or WhatsApp so that the room can be allotted to another devotee.
Is food available?
Yes. Mahaprasad is served daily. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included with Bhakta Niwas accommodation.
What are the temple darshan timings?
Morning Darshan: 5:00 AM â 12:00 PM
Evening Darshan: 4:00 PM â 10:00 PM
The temple remains closed between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Is there a free bus from Shegaon Railway Station?
Yes. A free Sansthan shuttle bus regularly operates between Shegaon Railway Station and the main temple complex throughout the day.
Is Mahaprasad available?
Yes. Mahaprasad is served daily, and Bhakta Niwas guests receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner during their stay.
Can we visit Anand Sagar during our stay?
Yes. Anand Sagar is located near the temple and is an ideal place for families to visit during the afternoon temple break.
What are the Anand Sagar entry timings?
Anand Sagar is generally open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Entry fees and timings may change during festivals.
What is the free Sansthan bus schedule?
Free buses usually operate every 15â30 minutes between Shegaon Railway Station and the temple complex from approximately 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
